We Work With All Major Insurance Companies

Nevada Water Damage works with all major homeowners and commercial insurance carriers, documents every claim the same thorough way regardless of who your insurer is, and bills most companies directly for approved work whenever your policy and claim allow it. We do not represent any single insurer, so our documentation is built to hold up with whichever carrier you have.

One Documentation Standard, Any Carrier

Rather than tailoring our process to a particular insurance company, we document every job the same way: photos from the first visit, moisture readings and water category or fire and smoke assessment, a written scope of work, and daily drying logs while work is underway. That consistency is what makes our documentation useful no matter which carrier is reviewing the claim.

It also means you get the same quality of service whether your policy is with a large national carrier, a regional insurer, or a policy managed through an HOA's master policy. We are not in the business of favoring one insurer over another, and our documentation practices do not change based on which company you happen to be insured with.

What Direct Billing Means

When your policy and claim allow it, we bill your insurance company directly for approved restoration work rather than asking you to pay us and wait for reimbursement. This is standard practice across the industry and depends on your specific policy terms, the approved scope of work, and how your particular claim is being handled.

Direct billing does not change how the claim itself is evaluated. Your insurer still reviews the damage, applies your policy's terms, and approves or adjusts the scope of work the same way they would with any restoration company.

Homeowners, Commercial and HOA Policies

We handle claims across residential homeowners policies, commercial property policies for businesses, and HOA or master-policy claims for condominiums, townhomes and other association-managed properties. Each type of policy has its own structure, and commercial or HOA claims often involve additional parties, such as a property manager or an association board, in addition to the insurer.

See our page for HOAs and property managers for more on how we coordinate restoration work across shared or multi-unit properties.

What We Cannot Promise About Any Insurer

We do not make promises about how a specific insurance company handles claims, how quickly any particular carrier processes paperwork, or what any individual adjuster will decide, because that varies by policy, by claim, and sometimes by adjuster. What we can promise is thorough, accurate documentation from our side of the job, regardless of who your insurer is.

If you have questions about your specific policy's terms, your agent or your insurer's claims department is the best source for that information. We are glad to help you understand the restoration side of what they tell you.

When More Than One Policy Is Involved

Some claims involve more than one insurance company at once, a tenant's renters policy alongside a landlord's property policy, an HOA master policy alongside an individual owner's policy, or a commercial tenant's policy alongside a building owner's coverage. These situations require documentation that clearly separates what happened where, since each insurer is only responsible for its own portion of the loss.

We are used to preparing documentation this way, by unit, by area, and by party affected, so that each policy holder and each insurer has a clear, accurate picture of the specific damage relevant to their coverage rather than one undivided account of the whole loss.

Getting Started, Whoever Your Insurer Is

You do not need to know your policy's fine print before you call us. We start with a free inspection to assess the damage, and from there we can help you understand what documentation your insurer will likely want and how our process supports that, regardless of which company you are insured with.

  • Free inspection and estimate before any commitment
  • Documentation built to industry standards, not tailored to any one insurer
  • Direct billing to most major carriers when your policy and claim allow it
  • Support for residential, commercial and HOA or master-policy claims
  • Bilingual service in English and Spanish for every step of the process

Questions

Straight answers

Do you work with my specific insurance company?

We work with all major insurance companies serving Nevada homeowners and businesses. Call us with your carrier's name and we can tell you what to expect from our side of the process.

Will you bill my insurance company directly?

In most cases, yes, for approved work, whenever your policy and claim allow it. We will let you know during the inspection how billing is likely to work for your specific situation.

Does it matter which insurance company I have?

It can affect deductible structure, coverage terms and how a claim is processed, but it does not change how thoroughly we document and restore your property. We apply the same standard of documentation to every job.

Can you work with my HOA's master insurance policy?

Yes. We handle claims tied to HOA or master policies and are used to coordinating with property managers and association boards in addition to the insurer. See our HOA and property managers page for more detail.

What if my insurance company disputes the scope of work?

We support that conversation with our documentation, moisture readings and photos, working directly with the adjuster when needed. Disputes over scope are common in this industry and are usually resolved through documentation rather than conflict.
