The first 60 minutes

What to do right now

What you do in the first hour decides how much has to be replaced later.

  1. Stay safe

If water is near outlets or appliances, stay out. Only cut power at the breaker if you are standing somewhere dry.

  2. Shut off the water

Most Las Vegas homes have the main shut-off at the front near the curb or on the garage wall. A one-inch line can dump hundreds of gallons an hour.

  3. Take photos

Photograph everything before you move anything - ceiling, floor, furniture and the source. It is the backbone of your claim.

  4. Call us

We extract the water, find the hidden moisture and start drying the same day. Mold can start growing in 24 to 48 hours.

Cost

What does it cost?

Nobody can price water damage honestly without seeing it, because no two losses are alike. These six things decide the cost - and the inspection that tells you is free.

Free inspection: (702) 213-9556

  1. How much area got wetHow many rooms, and how much wall and floor absorbed water.
  2. The category of waterClean water from a supply line, grey water from an appliance or black water from a drain - each is handled differently.
  3. How long it satThe longer water sits, the more material saturates and has to come out; after 24 to 48 hours mold can start.
  4. Drying daysMost structural drying takes three to five days, confirmed by daily moisture readings.
  5. What has to be replacedBaseboards, drywall, insulation, cabinets or flooring - whatever cannot be saved.

Las Vegas, by the numbers

Why valley homes take on water

A home's age decides what pipe, water heater and roof it has - and how they fail. In Clark County, most homes are now past the age when original parts start to give out.

Water heaters

Valley water is rated 'very hard' - 16 to 17 grains per gallon. Scale wears out tanks and fittings early.

Slab leaks

Nearly every valley home sits on a slab. A leak in the copper under the floor soaks the concrete and wicks up the walls.

AC condensate

Months of non-stop AC fill the condensate pan. A clogged attic drain line soaks ceilings and insulation.

Monsoon

July to September, sudden storms flood yards, garages and carports in minutes.

Supply lines

Washer hoses, fridge lines and toilet connectors - the most common failures, and the most preventable.

Extreme heat

Drying at 110 degrees takes humidity control, not just fans - hot air drives moisture where you cannot see it.

Service area

The whole valley, day and night

We roll out of Valley View Blvd by the I-15, so downtown, the Strip, Spring Valley and Paradise are minutes away, and Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas are a short run.

Questions

Straight answers

What should I do first if my home has water damage?

Get safe, shut off the main water valve if you can do it without risk, photograph everything, and call us. The sooner drying starts, the less has to be replaced.

How fast can you get here?

We answer 24 hours a day and dispatch a crew right away. Across most of the valley we typically arrive in about an hour, depending on location and conditions.

Does homeowners insurance cover water damage?

Most homeowners policies cover sudden and accidental damage, like a burst pipe or a water heater that ruptures. Slow, gradual leaks are usually excluded. We go through it with you and document everything for your adjuster.

Do you work directly with my insurance company?

Yes. We send photos, moisture readings and the estimate to your adjuster and bill the insurance company directly.

How long does drying take?

Most structural drying takes three to five days. We confirm it with daily moisture readings, not by eye.

Do I need mold testing after water damage?

According to the U.S. EPA, if water sat for more than 24 to 48 hours, mold can start to grow. We check the at-risk areas and tell you whether testing is needed.

Is the inspection free?

Yes. The inspection and estimate are free.

How much does water damage restoration cost?

It depends on how much area got wet, the category of water, how long it sat, the number of drying days and what has to be replaced. We do not quote prices without seeing the damage; the inspection is free, and many policies cover sudden, accidental damage.

What does "save your deductible" mean?

It is our offer this month. Every policy is different, so we explain it on the phone with the details of your claim.

Do you speak Spanish?

Yes. We work in English and Spanish.

What areas do you serve?

The whole Las Vegas valley: Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Boulder City and more.
